Luke Lewis founded Native Pest Management in 2015 to make Florida communities pest free with eco-friendly and pet-friendly pest control methods. Using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices, the company is becoming a leader in the forward-thinking pest control industry.
Prior to pest management, Lewis was an FBI Intelligence Analyst in Tallahassee, FL. Seeing the opportunities in pest control while growing up working in his family’s lawn maintenance company, he decided to make the switch from the government to be an entrepreneur, with a goal of hitting $100 million in annual revenue by 2032. Having been named to both the 2020 and 2021 Inc. 5000 List of the fastest-growing companies in the United States, Native Pest Management is well on its way to achieving that goal.
With 75 employees, Native Pest Management now services all of Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Jefferson, Leon, Wakulla, and Gadsden Counties. While the company began in West Palm Beach, Lewis quickly decided to open up offices in Port St. Lucie and Fort Lauderdale as well. Native Pest Management’s HQ is now located at 2420 Lakeshore Drive in Tallahassee, FL.
With hopes to one day provide access to pet-friendly pest control and termite control to every Florida home, Native Pest Management provides protection from a wide variety of pests including ants, termites, rodents, spiders, cockroaches, silverfish, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and more.
“We’ve put a lot of our energy into training our employees in pest knowledge and customer service and the results are amazing to see. With a goal to promote from within, the majority of our inspectors and managers started with the company as technicians. The positive energy of our team and their relentless focus on the customer experience has contributed to record-breaking growth for the company,” Lewis says. “We’re excited to keep growing our team so we can open up more branches and make more of Florida pest free.”
Pest control has evolved far beyond the old spray-and-squash methods. Today’s services focus on proactive, pet-safe solutions that keep unwanted visitors like ants, cockroaches, and silverfish out of the home without compromising the safety of your loved ones. The emphasis is on prevention—sealing up entry points, identifying nesting areas, and using targeted treatments to stop infestations before they start. It’s less about reacting and more about reclaiming peace of mind.
Of course, not every home intruder fits neatly into the “pest” category. When squirrels start nesting in the attic or raccoons dig through trash bins like midnight gourmets, it calls for a different kind of expertise. This is where Wildlife Removal comes into play—a humane, thoughtful service that helps relocate wild animals without causing harm, to them or to the household. It’s a necessary layer of protection for neighborhoods blending more and more with natural habitats.
The goal isn’t just to eliminate nuisances—it’s to create homes that feel secure, clean, and balanced. Modern pest control services understand the importance of harmony, offering eco-conscious solutions that work with nature, not against it. Whether it’s the scratching in the ceiling or a trail of ants marching through the kitchen, the right support ensures every corner of the house stays as it should be—pest-free and peaceful.
Sometimes, the surprise guests aren’t crawling or scavenging at all—they’re hovering. Homeowners are often caught off guard when they notice a sudden cloud of bees gathering near eaves, trees, or garden walls. Even more alarming is discovering a honeycomb quietly forming in an attic corner or inside a shed, built with impressive speed and old-world precision. Bees are essential to the ecosystem, but when they choose your home as prime real estate, admiration quickly turns into concern, especially for families with allergies or curious pets.
In these moments, the smartest move is restraint, not reaction. Spraying or disturbing a swarm can turn a peaceful situation into chaos faster than you can say “protective gear.” This is where calling a trained bee removal expert becomes essential—someone who understands bee behavior and relocation methods rooted in care and tradition. If you’re unsure what steps to take or want to learn more about safe, humane solutions, a professional can guide you through the process and ensure both your household and the bees come out unharmed. Sometimes, the wisest fix is letting the specialists handle what nature has delicately put together.
As winners of the 2021 Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethics, and with over 2000 five-star reviews on Google, Yelp, and Facebook, Native Pest Management is excited to provide service in North Florida and confident they will continue to deliver an unmatched customer experience.
