ACTIONS:
- Partner with the Office of Economic Vitality and engage in key stakeholder and existing industry meetings to drive business expansion and recruitment.
- Identify local target industry leaders (applied science, healthcare, information technology, manufacturing, professional services) to support and understand the needs for sustainability and growth.
- Continue to work with local government by providing feedback and recommendations for a business-friendly environment.
- Recruit private sector representatives to serve on local government policy boards and committees.
- Convene industry professionals to examine market demand and identify an inventory of local and regional sites for commercial and industrial development opportunities.
