The Annual Chamber Community Conference brings together all elements of the business community, from home-based entrepreneurs to key business and political leaders, to discuss real issues affecting our region’s future. With national keynote speakers, breakout sessions, networking opportunities and business exhibits, this conference allows attendees to make connections that will last a lifetime. Always held out of town, the weekend is a mix of business and pleasure for the whole family.

Babysitting at the Annual Chamber Conference

Seminole Sitters is excited to once again serve families attending the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Community Conference — our 14th year as the Chamber’s recommended childcare provider! Reserve your sitter early; only a limited number of sitters from Tallahassee will be available!

The Seminole Sitters are background checked, Pediatric CPR & First Aid certified, and vetted by a child care expert with 20+ years of experience. We provide care for all ages (premies to preteens) and those with special needs. One of the sitters traveling to Amelia Island formerly taught children with autism in an ABA school.

We’re happy to care for children in your hotel room or take them out for fun activities and events! No missed naps or feedings, just happy kids all weekend long! (And YES! We can babysit wherever you’re staying in Amelia Island. Our services are not limited to the Ritz!) Whether we’re babysitting at the Ritz or another location nearby, there are endless opportunities for fun! From beach outings and pool time to bike rentals, dining out, trail exploration, scavenger hunts, and movie nights with popcorn — we love getting creative and making lasting memories!

A nonrefundable deposit of $250 per family* (*If 2+ families share a sitter, the deposit will be reduced to $185 per family) is required to make your reservation and will be applied toward the cost of babysitting. We will be available Thursday evening, full day/evening on Friday, and full day/evening on Saturday. We are happy to arrive early or stay long past midnight. Please note that there is no babysitting available on Sunday.

The standard Tallahassee rate of $20/hour for one child and $3/hour for each additional child will apply. We encourage sharing a sitter with other families, as there is a limited number of sitters available. As usual, we can split the bill between families. Please note that each appointment has a three-hour minimum and a discounted $10 service fee (charged per appointment, not per hour). If the total cost exceeds the $250 deposit, the balance will be due at the end of the weekend.
