Good morning, Chamber! (you do not have to be a member of a church to attend this free event)
It is such a desire of the hearts of our team to engage with you as a local church. I pray this invitation comes at the right time, and you and even a few of your leadership and volunteer staff within your church can attend. It will be a great, no pressure way to learn more about us! Mission 5k- We have a goal of seeing five thousand volunteers from Tallahassee to Pensacola step up to serve within the next year. IT’s a big goal but we serve a big God! We have our next FRIENDRAISER (Church Engagement Dessert night) coming soon. It’s a wonderful evening to share what God is doing in Safe Families and a call to action! And our best opportunity to see amazing new volunteers join the Safe Families Community! As you know, without the local church we cannot support and serve the least of these in our city!
Here is the event registration form; Friendraiser 2026 (we need each guest to RSVP) August 27th 6:30 pm, First Baptist Church of Tallahassee, 108 W College Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32301Park along Park Ave or in Kleman Plaza and with a short walk over. (Parking after 6 on the street is free and $1 in the Plaza) Dessert night (dinner will not be provided so eat before you come) I hope to see you and your church represented!If you cannot attend, please forward this to your church leadership and potential volunteers!
