Tallahassee, FL—Bank of America has partnered with Second Harvest of the Big Bend food bank to provide four free pancake breakfasts as part of Tallahassee Peacemakers Initiative’s neighborhood-level holistic health events planned in December and January.
Tallahassee Peacemakers Initiative is a grassroots service group of ex-offenders, formerly incarcerated persons and activists whose goal is to eliminate violence in Tallahassee and Leon County through targeted intervention in at-risk neighborhoods. Community partnerships are essential to support their holistic health intervention actions in Tallahassee’s high-risk areas. Bank of America has stepped up to provide free pancake breakfasts to help increase event participation, with a goal to serve more than 1,000 at-risk citizens.
“Bank of America is honored to partner with and support community service organizations like Tallahassee Peacemakers Initiative which provide our most vulnerable neighbors with much-needed access to essential health care including vaccines, screenings and testing,” said Bank of America Tallahassee Market President, David Hulse.
Each event will highlight specific health initiatives for different groups including children, and will offer dry goods and fresh produce provide by Second Harvest.
