William Smith Named Capital City Bank President, Leon County

Tallahassee, FL, September 8, 2020 – Capital City Bank is proud to announce William Smith has been named president for its Leon County, Fla. market. In his new role, Smith is responsible for growing the Leon County market. Smith is a fourth-generation Tallahassee, Fla. resident and is honored to have been selected to lead his hometown market.

Smith’s professional associations include the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Foundation board of directors, Florida Bankers Association and Tallahassee Young Entrepreneur Organization, and he is a past president of Access Tallahassee. In addition to volunteer service with the Big Bend Hospice board of directors, Smith is an active supporter of United Way of the Big Bend. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife Sophie and two children Ford and Cameron.
