VyStar Credit Union is proud to announce its second Tallahassee branch is now open at 3208 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32308, continuing the credit union’s efforts to better serve residents in the Florida Panhandle. Tallahassee-Mahan Drive, VyStar’s 68th full-service branch, will also house a regional Contact Center, adding 25 jobs to the area. Additionally, a Starbucks Coffee® will open onsite in 2023, providing an even more enjoyable experience for members who visit the branch.
“Our new Tallahassee branch is a dynamic space where we can help our members reach their financial goals, while also supporting our entire membership base through our Contact Center,” said VyStar EVP/Chief Operations Officer Chad Meadows. “We have made many meaningful connections and partnerships since our first Tallahassee branch opened in 2021, and our team is excited to expand on those efforts as we continue to live out our purpose to Do Good in this vibrant community.”
VyStar’s first Tallahassee branch celebrated its grand opening in June 2021 at 1814 W. Tennessee St., about six miles from the new Tallahassee-Mahan Drive location. VyStar’s footprint continues to expand in the region. VyStar’s first Georgia branch opened earlier this year in Thomasville, and the credit union plans to open an additional 25 branches between Central Florida and Georgia in the next several years. This growth in the region brings the benefits of credit union membership to more communities and supports VyStar’s efforts to become the Credit Union of the Southeast.
The Tallahassee-Mahan Drive branch features VyStar’s digital-forward design concept, which improves how employees connect with members. The concept includes interactive touchscreen kiosks that provide financial tools and allow members to quickly explore the latest products, services and rates. Lobby hours for the branch are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Drive-thru hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
VyStar is dedicated to serving the Tallahassee area both through financial services and by giving back to the community. The credit union has local partnerships with Florida State University athletics, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Leon, Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority, Knight Creative Communities Institute, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend and more.
