Tri-Eagle Sales has reached an agreement to lease 10 Nikola Tre BEV trucks from Ring Power Corporation, a member of the Nikola Corporation (Nasdaq: NKLA) sales and service dealer network. Nikola is a leading designer and manufacturer of heavy-duty commercial battery-electric vehicles (BEV), fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEV) and energy infrastructure solutions.
Through this fleet-as-a-service leasing model, Ring Power will provide the sales, repairs, maintenance, and energy infrastructure required to operate the Nikola Tre BEV trucks throughout the lease term.
Tri-Eagle Sales has been a leading beverage wholesaler in the North and North Central Florida area since 1996. The company’s over 200 knowledgeable beverage professionals service over 2,000 retail customers in its 14-county territory from their two facilities in Tallahassee and Ocala, Florida.
“At Tri-Eagle, we want to leave the environment that we operate in the same way – or better – than we find it. Partnering with Ring Power and Nikola is a natural next step for us as it furthers our commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship,” said Tripp Transou, Chief Executive Officer, Tri-Eagle Sales. “We are very excited to be one of the first beverage distribution companies in the U.S. to start electrifying their fleet.”
“Tri-Eagle’s first battery-electric truck order is a testament to their willingness to partner with Nikola and Ring Power to add zero-emission vehicles in their fleet,” said David Alban, President of Ring Power Corporation. “We are excited to collaborate with Tri-Eagle as they initiate their adoption of a sustainable transportation fleet.”
“We expect the Nikola dealer network to be a key component in delivering innovative zero-emissions products to our customers,” explained Nikola Energy and Commercial President, Pablo Koziner. “Ring Power intends to provide not only the sales, parts, and service solutions for the Nikola trucks leased by Tri-Eagle, but also the related electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This is anticipated to be a true turnkey solution, with the goal for Tri-Eagle to realize zero-emissions transportation with first-class dealer support.”
The commitment shown by Tri-Eagle, Nikola, and Ring Power reflects how forward-thinking companies are redefining the transportation industry by embracing zero-emission solutions. Their collaboration not only demonstrates a desire to reduce environmental impact but also highlights the importance of creating a comprehensive support system that includes charging infrastructure, service, and maintenance. This approach acknowledges that the transition to electric fleets is not just about purchasing new vehicles but about ensuring long-term operational efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. By laying the groundwork for a turnkey solution, these partnerships set a precedent for how other fleet operators may approach electrification in the years ahead.
As fleets evolve, the process of integrating electric trucks often involves rethinking the entire lifecycle of existing vehicles, from acquisition and operation to resale or replacement. In this context, cardaddy becomes an important part of the equation, serving as a marketplace where businesses can manage transitions by listing older models or exploring available trucks to complement their needs. With access to a broad range of vehicle options, companies gain flexibility in upgrading their fleets while maximizing the value of assets they are phasing out. This type of marketplace access supports a smoother path toward modernization, allowing organizations to balance the adoption of sustainable technologies with practical decisions about current inventory.
As businesses modernize their fleets, attention naturally shifts toward maintaining the vehicles they already own, ensuring that every truck or car reflects the professionalism and care behind the brand. A well-maintained vehicle isn’t just about performance; it’s also about presentation and longevity. Regular cleaning, detailing, and surface protection contribute to better preservation of both interior and exterior components, reducing long-term repair costs and extending resale value.
Clean vehicles convey a sense of reliability to clients and employees alike, and in industries where appearance plays a key role, it becomes a reflection of operational excellence. The shift toward electric and hybrid vehicles also reinforces the need for specialized maintenance and detailing approaches that respect advanced materials and finishes used in modern automotive design.
Amid these evolving standards, CDC Detailing demonstrates how vehicle care can be elevated into an art form, blending precision, technique, and an understanding of what each vehicle requires to look and perform at its best. From advanced paint protection to deep interior rejuvenation, such detailing services help preserve not only the aesthetic appeal but also the integrity of fleet investments. In an age when sustainability and efficiency go hand in hand, proper detailing contributes quietly but significantly to the larger goal of responsible vehicle ownership. Whether for personal or commercial use, a meticulously detailed car remains a subtle but powerful testament to the value of maintenance and pride in one’s fleet.
Initial deliveries are expected to be in 2022.
