What’s better than a chance to win a beautiful, new Acura TLX? A chance to win while helping children with Type 1 diabetes.
Raffle tickets are on sale now for the Tee Off for Tots Car Raffle, benefiting the Proctor Endowment for Children with Diabetes at the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) Foundation.
Only 1,250 tickets will be sold for a chance to win a 2021 Acura TLX, donated by The Proctor Dealerships. The suggested minimum price is $85 per ticket. Visit TMH.ORG/Car to purchase tickets and to read the official rules and regulations.
Type 1 diabetes, unless carefully managed, can be life-threatening, and there is no cure. All proceeds go toward funding for the Tallahassee Memorial Metabolic Center’s detection, education and treatment programs, which help children as young as age two and their families cope with the medical and emotional challenges of this terrible disease.
Proceeds also help fund an annual camp where children with Type 1 diabetes can engage in fun activities and connect with their peers. Funding for this camp will continue, and funds will be used to help start a new sports camp, where children with diabetes can explore and learn sports in a safe environment.
