The Power of Referrals and Connections, Reenee Williams, Chamber Leads Group 5 Member

Most of us, are looking for more ways to connect and grow our businesses, and Chamber Leads Groups provide the perfect opportunity to do both. Reenee Williams, Rapid Response Coordinator for CareerSource Capital Region has been a part of Chamber Leads groups for almost four years and has experienced firsthand the power of referrals and connections.

“Chamber Leads Groups bring together members of different sectors to build business relationships, gain business advice and generate quality referrals and leads,” says Reenee.

More than 80 individuals, representing a diverse list of industries make up our five Leads Groups. Members become a tight-knit group, gathering to share referrals, testimonials, and short presentations about their businesses. “Leads groups are not about passing random leads to each other, but about knowing and understanding your group members and their services so when the time comes, you’re able to share a quality referral, lead, and local resource that funnels directly back into our local community.”

People do business with people they know and trust. By getting involved and helping fellow Leads members, you’re connecting with local businesses you might not have had access to or knowledge of. An indirect networking benefit!

Each year, the Chamber delivers more than 450 programs, events, and resources. Our Leads Groups are one of the longest-standing and strongest benefits for Chamber members of any size.
