TC Federal Bank welcomes Laquan Bruner as Sr. Vice President, Chief Information Officer

THOMASVILLE, Jan 9, 2021, For Immediate Release — TC Federal Bank welcomes Laquan Bruner to their Senior Leadership Team as Chief Information Officer.

Laquan is veteran of Information Technology, governance, compliance and project management with over 20 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Georgia and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Troy University. Her expertise lies in IT governance strategy, SOX compliance, change management, vendor management, systems implementation, information security and risk mitigation, and technology operations.

Prior to coming to TC Federal Bank, Laquan worked for Flowers Foods, Inc., the second-largest producer and marketer of packaged bakery foods in the U.S. Over the span of 15 years, her tenure at Flowers culminated in the role of Vice President Operational Technology and OCIO where she led the IT operations team, service desk, infrastructure, technology procurement, client services, access management, compliance, and project management functions of the company. She enjoys the professional challenge of acting as a change agent during internal technology transformations and serving as a stakeholder liaison to facilitate team building, inter-organization cooperation and setting accountability standards. She holds professional memberships in the Information Systems Audit & Control Association, Project Management Institute, and Help Desk Institute.

Laquan is a native of Thomasville, Georgia and an honor graduate of Thomasville High School. She is a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., treasurer of THS Tip-Off Club, Inc., member Rose City Church of Christ where she serves as the financial secretary, and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
