Hosted by the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) Foundation and presented by Electrotech, Cards for a Cure will celebrate 16 years of honoring local breast cancer survivors from 7 – 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at The Moon.
This year will be a celebration of honoree and breast cancer survivor Hope Witters, a Tallahassee mom, wife and Executive Director in Sales & Marketing Integration with Eli Lilly and Company.
The Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center diagnoses and treats over 1,650 new cancer cases annually, and breast cancer is the number-one diagnosis. TMH offers the only comprehensive cancer program in the Big Bend, delivering the most powerful treatment options under one roof and expediting the time it takes to move from diagnosis to treatment.
Hosted annually by the TMH Foundation, Cards for a Cure was started in 2006 by a group of friends and family to honor a woman in the community for her valiant journey with breast cancer. The event’s steering committee works with the TMH Foundation to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds that directly benefit patients.
Sponsorships and tickets are available at TMH.ORG/Cards. The evening will include live music, casino games, food, libations and a silent auction.
