The Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and other community partners are teaming up to host “Fill-a-Truck For Florida,” food and fund drive.
The drive will be held on Thursday, September 21, with donations from the event going to Second Harvest of the Big Bend to assist with future disaster relief and local hunger crises.
Those wishing to donate can do so from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tallahassee Chamber office at 300 E. Park Avenue.
In addition to the collection at the Chamber’s office, Madison Social will be hosting a donation station on Saturday.
Suggested donations include: water, crackers, canned vegetables and meats, peanut butter, jelly and other nonperishable items.
