he Urban Land Institute (ULI) North Florida today announced that John McNeill, Principal, NAI TALCOR, has been named Chair of the ULI Capital Region Board, effective July 1, 2026. McNeill succeeds David Weiss, Shareholder, Ausley McMullen, who has served as Board Chair since 2024.
As Chair, McNeill will oversee the Capital Region Board’s efforts to share best practices in real estate and to connect real estate leaders for the betterment of Tallahassee and the surrounding communities. The Board provides local leadership by managing local meetings, programs, and initiatives.
McNeill has been actively involved with ULI’s Capital Region programming for more than 7 years and has served on the ULI Capital Region Board since 2022. Most recently, he served as Chair of UrbanPlan, ULI’s award-winning experiential learning program that introduces high school students to the complex decisions involved in real estate development and city building. He continues to volunteer with the UrbanPlan program at Maclay High School and FSU.

ABOUT JOHN MCNEILL
McNeill brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, assisting buyers, sellers, tenants, investors, and landlords across all facets of the industry, including brokerage, site selection, leasing, valuation, landlord representation, and investment analysis.
He was recognized as NAI Global’s 2018 and 2019 Top Producer Globally for Tertiary Markets as well as 2018 and 2019’s Top Producer for the State of Florida.
In addition to his involvement with ULI, McNeill is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee (Class 33) and the Florida Retail Masters Program. He has also served on the board for the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, as well as many other local organizations.
