Make-A-WishCentral & Northern Florida recently launched the “Grant 50 Wishes” campaign to help grant wishes to children living in the NW Region of Florida fighting life-changing illnesses. Please consider granting a wish to a precious child. Children like Charlotte, who at 3 1/2 years old, was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder and spent months in the hospital receiving treatment fighting this rare illness. She wished to meet a unicorn when she started to feel better. We are happy to report she is a happy and healthy 12-year-old planning her future. There are over 40 wish kids living in the NW Region of Florida diagnosed with a critical illness who are waiting for their wish to be granted. You can help make their wish come true by supporting Make-A-Wish today. Visit the campaign website at https://grant50wishes.com to learn more and view a list of wishes waiting to be granted. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope.
Why I joined the Chamber
“The day-to-day business challenges can be all encompassing and we sometimes tend to stay in our silos, working to get our jobs done to the best of our ability. At the Chamber Conference, I quickly learned how easy it is to meet and talk with business leaders I might not otherwise have the opportunity to talk with. I have also gained valuable information and knowledge from the General Sessions and the Workshops. I have learned about business trends and met business leaders who were relocating to Tallahassee.”
