Keiser University Tallahassee is excited to announce the launch of its new Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program, with the first cohort set to begin in Fall 2025. Applications are now being accepted as the campus continues its mission to meet the growing workforce needs of the Tallahassee region and beyond.
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program will train students to perform essential diagnostic ultrasound procedures, preparing graduates to serve patients in a variety of healthcare settings. Program instruction will include abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular concentrations, with an emphasis on clinical competency, patient care, and professional ethics.
“The healthcare industry in our region continues to experience strong demand for skilled diagnostic imaging professionals,” said Dr. Shyam Mistry, Dean of Academic Affairs at Keiser University Tallahassee. “We’re proud to offer this new program as part of our ongoing commitment to workforce development and to serving the needs of both our students and the broader healthcare community.”
