HCA Florida Capital Hospital is proud to support Donate Life Month and the efforts to bring awareness to organ, tissue and eye donation.
Capital Hospital held a flag raising ceremony to honor those who have made these life-saving donations.
Thank you to our very own, Sherryl Watts, clinical director of nursing operations, for sharing her son’s story who was a lung transplant recipient.
At Capital Hospital, we honor organ donors through our tradition of “Walks of Honor.” All available hospital staff will line the hallways of the hospital for a moment of silence to honor organ donors at the time of their donation. The Donate Life flag is flown each time an organ donation is made at HCA Florida Capital Hospital.
