Florida Blue Offers Bilingual Grief Counseling to Tallahassee Community

TALLAHASSEE – April 17, 2025 – Florida Blue, in partnership with Lucet, is offering support to individuals and loved ones affected by the recent tragedy on the Florida State University (FSU) campus in Tallahassee. The company is providing the community access to specially trained behavioral health counselors via a 24-hour, toll-free help line: 1-833-848-1762.

Specially trained counselors are available for anyone experiencing feelings of stress, anxiety, trauma or grief. In addition to counseling, callers may also receive referrals to community resources to help them with emergency services.

The grief counselor support is free of charge to anyone in the Tallahassee area and is available to both English and Spanish-speaking individuals. The help line is available to affected individuals, and they do not have to be Florida Blue members.

Florida Blue is closely monitoring the developing situation at FSU, and our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected.

Again, the number is 1-833-848-1762 for anyone in the Tallahassee community needing to speak to a counselor, Florida Blue member or not.
