First Florida Credit Union Cinches Multiple Awards at the 2023 Best of Bold City Community’s Choice Awards

First Florida Credit Union and its President and CEO Brent Lister were recently recognized
at the 2023 Best of Bold City Community’s Choice Awards Gala, winning the top award for “Best Bank” and “Best
Boss,” respectively.

With the support of the Jacksonville community, First Florida edged out competitors to secure its spot as “Best
Bank” in the Finance Category.

President and CEO of First Florida Credit Union, Brent Lister was also honored at the Gala, being named “Best Boss”
in the Top Employers – People category.

Lister, who has been with the credit union for almost 20 years, said the awards are both humbling and exciting.
“It is always satisfying to see your hard work as a business – and as a leader – being recognized by the
community,” Lister said. “These awards are the sum of countless meaningful daily interactions with our
members and staff. We simply would not have earned this distinction without the day-to-day excellence
demonstrated by our entire team.”

The Best of Bold City Community’s Choice Awards recognize more than 480 businesses and organizations
throughout Jacksonville. The yearly awards program starts with public nominations, and from the top five
nominees in each category, the voting round selects the finalists and winners. Winners are revealed at the Awards
