The Tallahassee Technology (TalTech) Alliance – Tallahassee’s not-for-profit network of technology-centered businesses, academic centers, entrepreneurs and individuals – will host its 2nd Annual Beyond Par Golf Tournament on Sept. 24 at Golden Eagle Country Club. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and area golfers will tee off at noon. Professional golfer Kenny Knox will provide a golf instruction clinic at 11 a.m. The proceeds from the event will directly support the ongoing community educational programs of TalTech Alliance. Why I joined the Chamber
“The Chamber is all about being given the opportunity to form relationships through networking. In Leads Groups, you spend quality time with other businesses, and often gain “Access” (another Chamber group focusing on younger members) to their connections as well. In Leadership Tallahassee, you gain a new family of business leaders, and are guaranteed exposure to something or some group you were not familiar with, while broadening your understanding of all things “Tallahassee”. With LT’s Building Better Boards, you get to spend an evening with a great, philanthropic/altruistic group who are learning to serve their nonprofits more effectively. With the Chamber Conference, you get to spend quality time off-site and in a more casual setting while learning more about our community. Is the Chamber helpful for your business? Absolutely – especially if you join, engage, and take advantage of the great programs they offer!”
