The first ever Tallahassee Sand Festival will be held March 30—April 1, 2012!
Brought to you by Roberts Sand Company, this 3-day outdoor event will be advertised across the region and will celebrate our Tallahassee lifestyle and the role that sand plays in architecture, art, gardening, and celebrating spirits, food, landscaping, recreation, and sports. We will feature a health walk, a 3k run, beach volleyball, a sand sculpting exhibition with a sculpting master sharing their tips and tricks and sand sculpting competition with area judges, !!as well as great summer beverages and delicious merchant food
• A collaboration of performers, civic groups, artists, merchants & business owners, as well as relevant area vendors coming together in the Market District/Market Square business district. Corporate sponsorships are still available as well.
• Community-wide event open to the public—appealing to all ages across a wide variety of interests. The celebration will be unique, fun and educational ‘must attend’ place to enjoy life during one of our most beautiful weekends.
