Every year for the past 37 years the Tallahassee Democrat has spotlighted numerous volunteers for their efforts in our community. Your chance to nominate someone ends on March 11, 2015 at 5 p.m. For all of the time and dedication they’ve put into helping others, you can put a little time into filling out the nomination form at http://tallahassee.com/volunteers/ and give them the acknowledgment they so richly deserve. This year’s awards luncheon, sponsored by Leon County Public Schools, will be held on May 5, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Florida State University’s University Center Club.

Why I joined the Chamber
“AMWAT Moving Warehousing & Storage value its relationship and membership with the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce greatly. We find the resources provided by the Chamber are extremely beneficial to us. As a small growing business, we value the many resources the Chamber provides for professional and business growth; government advocacy and ensuring its members are receiving value. We owe much of our growth and success to the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce; but like any membership, it is up to the member to access the many programs offered by the Chamber and get involved.”
