Our final concert of the season will be the final appearance by our beloved Artistic Director, Dr. André J. Thomas, on our podium. What better way to honor our conductor of 31 years than to perform the Southeastern premiere of the André J. Thomas Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy, under the baton of André Thomas! We are very privileged to present this work to our community! Among the other works to be performed will be Handel’s Zakok the Priest and works by Dr. Thomas. We are excited to have the University Symphony Orchestra join us as our orchestra for this concert. In addition, the choirs of the FSU College of Music will celebrate Dr. Thomas with performances of his works. A fitting tribute and joyful celebration!
