Our Third Annual Karaoke For Kids Fundraising Event takes place on April 2, 2026 | 6:30pm – 9pm at the Moon. Karaoke for Kids on Thursday, April 2nd, will be an unforgettable night full of fun, community, and support for our local schools! This annual fundraising event, benefiting the Foundation for Leon County Schools, raises legislative matching grant dollars, allowing teachers to provide special projects in their classrooms through the Innovative Teacher Grants program. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to the grants, bringing new learning experiences to the district and potentially benefiting thousands of LCS students. Last year’s event generated $52,000 for local educational initiatives and resources across the district. This year, we’re aiming even higher and need your help! What to Expect-Watch local stars battle it out for the coveted Karaoke for Kids Champion title—revealed on event night! Awards are also given for Best Performance, Best Costume, Most Spirited, and Fan Favorite. Audience participation is a MUST! Our karaoke contestants, supported by a toolkit and donation platform, aim to hit a minimum of $2,500 each. Tune in, donate today, and join us on April 2nd!
Why I joined the Chamber
“The Chamber is all about being given the opportunity to form relationships through networking. In Leads Groups, you spend quality time with other businesses, and often gain “Access” (another Chamber group focusing on younger members) to their connections as well. In Leadership Tallahassee, you gain a new family of business leaders, and are guaranteed exposure to something or some group you were not familiar with, while broadening your understanding of all things “Tallahassee”. With LT’s Building Better Boards, you get to spend an evening with a great, philanthropic/altruistic group who are learning to serve their nonprofits more effectively. With the Chamber Conference, you get to spend quality time off-site and in a more casual setting while learning more about our community. Is the Chamber helpful for your business? Absolutely – especially if you join, engage, and take advantage of the great programs they offer!”
