We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for our first annual Wonder Women Event! Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help girls unleash their limitless potential through our Girls on the Run program. It’s time to take the stage and register for an event that will showcase amazing women in our community and warriors that have raised money for the organization, they are so passionate about.
Gather up your warriors — you will need 10 friends to help you raise money and participate on game day! Become a team captain or simply a team member!
Day of the event will be a showcase of warriors in our community. You will hear from women that represent all walks that decided to become the woman they were meant to be! Our program provides the tools to guide the girls to become successful by using their voice, unique skills and imbracing their difference for good.
We will compete in teams with field day style event to celebrate the funds raised. Giveaways, 10 Team Challenges, photo booth, special guests, and local entertainment.
Teams will commit to raising $1,500 over the next few months. So gather your warriors in support of scholarships and program development. Our mission is to serve more girls than we ever have before! Be apart of GREATNESS!
Why I joined the Chamber
“When I arrived Tallahassee in the Fall of 1967 to lease Tallahassee's first ever High-Rise office building (now Bank of America bldg.) I was so glad to be an active member of the Chamber; women in business was unheard of then; I was the first female to join the Chamber. We were all so busy doing so much for our community and still the Chamber does so much for our great City of Tallahasseey; my sincere appreciaation to all of you for a greeat Job benefiting all of us! ”
