ASPIRE Capital Region announced that the organization will be hosting a series of virtual FAFSA completion nights during May, June, and July. These nights are specifically targeting graduates from the class of 2020 and 2021, due to the decreased amount of FAFSAs submitted for these two years. During the completion night, students and parents will walk step-by-step through the FAFSA with local Tallahassee Community College financial aid expert, Bill Spiers. Additional financial aid experts will be on the call to answer individual questions from participants. The goal is for participants to complete and submit their application during the event.
Why I joined the Chamber
“The Chamber is all about being given the opportunity to form relationships through networking. In Leads Groups, you spend quality time with other businesses, and often gain “Access” (another Chamber group focusing on younger members) to their connections as well. In Leadership Tallahassee, you gain a new family of business leaders, and are guaranteed exposure to something or some group you were not familiar with, while broadening your understanding of all things “Tallahassee”. With LT’s Building Better Boards, you get to spend an evening with a great, philanthropic/altruistic group who are learning to serve their nonprofits more effectively. With the Chamber Conference, you get to spend quality time off-site and in a more casual setting while learning more about our community. Is the Chamber helpful for your business? Absolutely – especially if you join, engage, and take advantage of the great programs they offer!”
