Join us at the Florida Historic Capitol Museum for a special evening on the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment. Dr. Peggy Macdonald, author of “Marjorie Harris Carr: Defender of Florida’s Environment,” will share the stories of a few of Florida’s Female Pioneers: Dr. Esther Hill Hawks, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and First Lady May Mann Jennings. Attendees will enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to create a personalized centennial souvenir.
It will also be your last opportunity to view One Half of the People: Advancing Equality for Women before it closes that evening.
