Details include Advantage Business Summit Monday, September 14, 2026, FSU Turnbull Conference Center Breakfast & Networking: 8:00 a.m. Program: 8:30–11:35 a.m. This year’s summit is centered on where we are now as a community, where opportunities are emerging, and how we prepare local businesses to participate, compete, and grow as our regional economy continues to evolve. The morning will bring together entrepreneurs, small business owners, corporate and community partners, government agencies, and business resource organizations for economic insight, practical information, and meaningful connections.
The program will include an Economic Outlook presented by Dr. Clyde Diao, Chief Economist with Regional Economic Consulting Group, followed by a leadership conversation with Keith Bowers, Director of the Office of Economic Vitality, and me connecting the economic outlook to what businesses are experiencing locally and the opportunities ahead.We are also excited to have Eddie Loumiet and Byron Greene leading the interactive session, “Front Door to the Florida Capital Region: Business Concierge Roadmap.” The session will help entrepreneurs better navigate regional resources, identify business needs and gaps, and connect with organizations that can assist with their next steps.Additional conversations will focus on business capacity, procurement and contracting opportunities, financial and operational readiness, and resources that can help businesses strengthen and scale.
