One of the Museum’s most popular events, Children’s Day, provides an opportunity for parents and youth to share hands-on activities, exhibits, educational experiences, and entertainment. This year’s theme, “Growing Up with Your Museum,” celebrates the thirtieth annual presentation of Children’s Day. Parents who attended the Museum as children are now bringing their own children to this event. Folks of all ages will be captivated by the creative atmosphere that includes jugglers, clowns, reenactors, dancers, and musicians. Admission and parking are free, although a small fee is charged for selected crafts. The Museum of Florida History is part of the Florida Department of State’s Division of Cultural Affairs and is located in the R. A. Gray Building at 500 South Bronough Street in downtown Tallahassee.
Why I joined the Chamber
“The Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce has connected me with people dedicated to building up our community. It's given me the chance to step outside my usual circle, meet new people, and learn from those who have achieved goals similar to mine. It's impressive to see an organization maintain such consistency while continuously innovating and enhancing resources for its members.”
