Tallahassee public relations and digital marketing firm RB Oppenheim Associates has enhanced its communication capabilities with the recent addition of Erica Thaler as its chief marketing officer.
Thaler will serve state associations, private companies and nonprofits in various fields such as technology, health services, disabilities awareness, senior services, municipal redevelopment, real estate marketing and more. Her skills include marketing of businesses and nonprofits, advocacy and educational campaigns, graphic design, social media, newsletter content and creation, website integrations, public speaking and presentations, fundraising and business development.
Prior to joining RB Oppenheim Associates, Thaler served for the past 13 years as the communications and marketing manager at the Council on Culture & Arts (COCA), the area’s local arts agency. Her 25-year career also includes previous stints as development and corporate underwriting executive at WFSU Public Media, executive director of the Tallahassee Symphony Youth Orchestras, integrated marketing director at Clear Channel Communications, and various roles in sales and management for broadcast and print media in Tallahassee and San Diego.
A classical music enthusiast, Thaler also serves as managing director of Music for Food Tallahassee and has previously served as chair of the board of directors for the Tallahassee Bach Parley.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a program emphasis in business and administration from UCLA.
