TALLAHASSEE, FL, (August 17, 2020) — Elder Care Services Inc. announced today that it received a $5,000 grant from Truist Financial Corporation as part of its Truist Cares* initiative to help expand the services and nutritional support that Elder Care Services provides to the increased number of homebound seniors due to COVID-19.

In addition to prepared meals, Elder Care Services has provided 830 bags of food to seniors to help them avoid group environments in stores to protect their health and reduce food insecurity. The Truist grant will support continued efforts to serve seniors vital nutrition in safe environments.
“We’re energized by our partnership with Elder Care Services in Tallahassee,” said Chris Mills, market president at Truist. “We’re proud to support Elder Care Services as they provide essential nutrition and meals to home-bound seniors in need during this pandemic.
