Leadership Tallahassee to Offer Excellent Training at Feb. 26 Conference

Leadership Tallahassee is presenting its first Leadership Conference Friday, February 26, at the Florida State University Turnbull Conference Center, 8:30 – 5:00 p.m.  Recognizing that individuals and organizations need to be mindful of their “bottom line”, an in-town conference seemed to be an ideal way to provide valuable training for a low cost.

The event is open to everyone interested in further developing personal and professional leadership skills.  Attendees will choose from 12 workshops in three sessions on leadership principals such as systems thinking, decision making and civic engagement.  A panel discussion on “Transitional Leadership” features Howell Ferguson, Chairman, Lykes Brothers, Inc.; Venita Garvin, President, Florida Chapter of Professional Business Woman’s Association and Talbot “Sandy” D’Alemberte, President Emeritus and Professor, Florida State University.  The session “The Seven Universal Facial Expression Emotions” will focus on discovering the underlying truth in facial expressions.  Three plenary speakers, including Coach Ken Carter, round out this jam-packed day.   This conference is not to be missed!
