CHAMBER ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF THE 2010 SMALL BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce held its 25th annual 2010 Small Business Excellence Awards luncheon recognizing small businesses and organizations in the Tallahassee community for their outstanding achievements and contributions.

“We hope that, through the Small Business Excellence Awards, local businesses see how much they are appreciated,” said Matt Brown, Chairman for the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.

Entries for the Small Business Excellence Awards were welcomed through an open call for nominations, followed by an extensive application process with winners chosen by an esteemed selection committee. More than 400 individuals attended the annual event, held at the University Center Club, where the winners were announced in each of the following business categories.

Small Business of the Year: 1–4 employees
Boot Camp Fitness & Training
Small Business of the Year: 5-30 employees
King Arthur’s Tools
Small Business of the Year: 31-99 employees
