Our top priority is protecting our patients, clinicians, and colleagues and our sites of care maintain COVID-19 precautions. We conduct staff screenings and temperature checks prior to each shift in both our inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings, but we have also established universal masking for all staff.
“Behavioral health treatment has come a long way, but just as with other diseases, psychiatric disorders have episodic flare-ups that require intervention and follow-up,” said Dr. Jeffrey Ferraro, Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services at Capital Regional Medical Center. “With our new Outpatient Services for adult substance abuse and adolescent program, we have more opportunities to ensure our patients receive the care they need, when and where they need it.”
