Capital Regional Medical Center Appoints Ricky Rodriguez, BSN, RN as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer

Capital Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare North Florida Division, announces the appointment of Ricky Rodriguez, BSN, RN as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer.

Ricky has been in the nursing field for more than 14 years. Upon graduation from nursing school, he began his career by building a solid foundation in the progressive care subspecialty and also has experience in the ICU.

“I look forward to joining the exceptional team at Capital Regional Medical Center,” said Rodriguez. “Capital Regional is known for providing the Big Bend Region with high quality, patient-centered care.”

Rodriguez most recently served as Director of Emergency Services at HCA Healthcare’s Poinciana Medical Center, a 76-bed acute care facility in Kissimmee, Florida. Prior to that, he served as Emergency Services Manager at AdventHealth – East Orlando, a 295-bed hospital.

“Ricky will be an outstanding addition to our administrative team,” said Tara Beth Anderson, Chief Nursing Officer at Capital Regional Medical Center. “We are confident in his ability to provide leadership to our nursing colleagues and enhance our mission of above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.”

Ricky received his ASN & BSN from Keiser University and is currently completing his MSN with a focus in Healthcare Systems Management from Keiser University.
