This past Sunday, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend (BBBS) honored their Bigs and Littles of the year nominees and winners. BBBS Board and staff recognized their active “Bigs” in their youth mentoring programs and awarded the Big Brother, Big Sister, Little Brother, and Little Sister of the year winners.
The nominees were addressed by BBBS Board Member and our 2012 National Big Brother of the Year, Brent Hartsfield and his Little Brother Delaitre Hollinger. This year’s awards went to:
Big Brother of the Year – Sam Kerce
Big Sister of the Year – Katie Burtoft
Little Brother of the Year – Krysis Watson
Little Sister of the Year – Michaela Johnson
