Tallahassee, FL (March 5, 2023) – This past Sunday, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend (BBBS) honored their Bigs and Littles of the year nominees and winners. BBBS Board and staff recognized their active volunteer “Bigs” in their youth mentoring programs and awarded both the Big and Little of the year winners.
The nominees were addressed by BBBS Board Members Nathan Adams, Blake Dowling and Ella Schwarz-Parisi and our 2012 National Big Brother of the Year, Brent Hartsfield. This year’s awards went to:
Big Sister of the Year – Heather Merritt
Little Brother of the Year – Ky’ron Williams
