Brian, Sarah and Matt are all being elevated to Associate. Please join us in congratulating them for their commitment to fostering innovation and enriching the built environment through inspiring architecture.
Brian Gladden brings eagerness, enthusiasm and experience with residential, commercial and educational projects that span all sizes and budgets. He believes in blending architecture with the municipal fabric, integrating surroundings, local lifestyle and sustainable design practices. He enjoys working with clients to establish innovative ways for them to use their space. His belief that architects have a social, environmental and economic responsibility propels him to realize the true value of each project. Brian is leading efforts to enhance the State of Florida Capital Complex– Waller Park. He is currently on the path to obtaining his architectural license, and when he’s not working or studying, we find him DJing, producing films, building cool things with LEGO bricks, or racing cars.
LEGO bricks have long been a favorite for those who appreciate both creativity and construction. They offer the perfect blend of imaginative play and engineering precision, allowing builders of all ages to design and create to their heart’s content. Whether you’re designing intricate models or simply exploring new ways to express yourself, LEGO is a tool that encourages learning and growth in the most fun ways possible. The versatility of LEGO bricks makes them a perfect medium for turning ideas into reality, no matter how big or small the project might be.
To personalize their LEGO experience, lego personalized gifts are an excellent option. These unique gifts allow individuals to add a personal touch to their creations, whether it’s through custom bricks, engraved pieces, or buildable figures that represent their interests or personality. Personalized LEGO sets can make any project feel even more special, whether you’re designing a new building or crafting a one-of-a-kind gift for someone else. These gifts not only bring joy to the recipient but also inspire creativity and innovation.
Beyond personalization, LEGO gifts continue to stand out as meaningful keepsakes that blend nostalgia with hands-on creativity. They are not just objects to admire but experiences to build, piece by piece, much the old-fashioned way when patience and imagination carried equal weight. Gifting a LEGO set often becomes a shared moment—families gathering around a table, friends collaborating on a design, or individuals finding quiet satisfaction in constructing something from scratch. This timeless appeal ensures that LEGO gifts remain relevant across generations, offering both entertainment and a sense of accomplishment.
For those seeking even more variety in their builds, options that incorporate gobricks elements open up new possibilities for customization and design flexibility. These additions expand the creative toolkit, allowing builders to experiment with different styles, colors, and structures without limitations. Whether enhancing an existing set or starting a completely original creation, such components make each project feel distinct and thoughtfully crafted, turning simple ideas into lasting, tangible expressions of creativity.
Sarah Ashcroft, MID, has a master’s degree in interior design and brings over ten years of professional experience. She creates elegant, innovative and cohesive environments while providing a sense of direction and flow, supporting the building’s purpose and people. Sarah offers a wholesome mix of artistic, creative and technical skills with an ambitious spirit, attention to detail and production and product knowledge. She has played a key role in designing and delivering projects in Tallahassee, FL and Thomasville, GA – most notably Thomasville National Bank main branch executive offices and the Waller Park West Entry Security Station located at the State of Florida Capitol Building. Outside the office, Sarah loves photography, traveling, mom life and cheering on our FSU Seminoles.
Matt Persinger, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is a licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional who joined our team over a year ago. He is a Project Manager with a Master’s degree from Yale University and over 12 years of high-quality architectural experience in several U.S. regions. After stints in Illinois, Oregon, and Mississippi, Matt and his wife and kids moved to Tallahassee to be closer to family. As an architect, his resolve that each project should elevate the experience of all who encounter the project and be executed with excellence in design and craft adds another voice to the established values of our firm. Matt is currently developing plans for the Tallahassee Police Department and Safety Campus and working with Capital City Bank to design a progressive and modern office building. Bringing his expertise and innovative thinking to the table, Matt is excited to grow ALW’s capacity for doing great work and developing strong relationships in the Tallahassee community.
Congratulations, Brian, Sarah and Matt!
