Aegis Biz Tech, one of Florida’s leading tech companies, is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Harris to Chief Technology Officer. Michael began his career in the US Marines before joining Aegis as a Consultant 10 years ago. He was promoted to Senior Consultant, Sales Engineer, and Solutions Manager prior to this latest move to CTO. The current Aegis CTO, Mr. Kevin Drake, will move to a Chief Information Officer role to better manage our fleet of service offerings.
“Kevin and our other managers have been moving the Aegis ship forward for 15 years together and his skillset is perfectly aligned to take over management of our technology infrastructure for Aegis and our clients because he helped build it. While Michael brings a door kicking attitude of excellence needed to lead our technical team into the future” says Blake Dowling, Aegis CEO.
Aegis is heading into its 30th year in business next year, having just rebranded and moved its HQ to a new facility in 2024. It has been an era of growth for the company. “We are checking the boxes on our strategic growth one at a time and these leadership changes are exactly what we need to prepare for the next 30 years”. This year Aegis also opens its Washington, DC office to continue providing IT services where it’s client’s need them.
