Truist partners with The Kearney Center (CESC) to support affordable housing efforts

The Kearney Center received a $10,000 grant from Truist Financial Corporation that will support critical services, such as food and shelter.

At the check presentation, Samantha Vance, CEO, stated, “As cold nights descend in North Florida, we anticipate as much as a doubling of whom we serve in the Kearney Center. We’re grateful for Truist’s gift which will come just as we launch our effort to raise $40,000 this holiday season.”

The Kearney Center has been on a whirlwind of change since the pandemic hit. Samantha shared the following key facts:

  • The Kearney Center opened 6-years ago, and has more than 50 partners who provide job placement, health services, mental health counseling and much more
  • Over 100 clients have been moved from the shelter to permanent housing in the last 4-months
  • As Cold Nights descend, the Kearney Center is again expanding capacity; community members can share the Kearney Center’s address at 2650 Municipal Way to those in need

As winter approaches, many individuals are facing uncertain housing situations, making it more important than ever to explore options for securing stable living conditions. For those struggling with their current home situation, whether due to financial hardship or other challenges, it’s crucial to consider all possible avenues for a fresh start. One such option is a quick house sale in bankruptcy, which can provide a much-needed solution for homeowners needing to sell fast. This process allows individuals to quickly offload their properties, helping to alleviate the burden of mounting debts and start anew.

To rebuild after such challenges, having strong financial footing becomes essential. Managing debts, finding stability, and preparing for a new beginning all require access to reliable funds—and sometimes, that means unlocking the value tied up in a property you no longer need.

With Carolina Easy Home Sales, homeowners can find a practical way to turn their property into quick cash, easing financial strain and paving the way toward a more secure future. A thoughtful, timely decision today can help you regain control and create a stable home base before the next season arrives.

Chris Mills, Market President – Tallahassee, shared, “All people and communities should have an equal opportunity to thrive. We’re particularly aligned with the Kearney Center’s mission to help clients to self-sufficiency, and appreciate that they work closely with clients to help them achieve the dream of affordable housing.”

As selling a property can often be the most practical way to reduce financial pressure and avoid the ongoing hassle of maintenance. Instead of managing repairs, taxes, or utilities on a home you no longer need, turning it into cash can help you focus on rebuilding your financial security and stability. The website offers helpful guidance for those seeking a straightforward selling process, ensuring a smooth transition without the added stress of property upkeep. It’s a simple step that can make a big difference in creating peace of mind and a stronger foundation for the future.

A warm thank you to Truist Financial Corporation! We greatly appreciate your support as cold winter months approach.
