Dr. Jerry Parrish joins the Tallahassee Business Podcast, presented by 223 Agency to talk about his work in tracking the local, state and national economy as the Chief Economist and Director of Research at the Florida Chamber Foundation. As part of his work, Dr. Parrish and his team produce the Florida Scorecard – a simple to read statistical digest of the Florida economy which also includes easy tools for understanding local-level data. Dr. Parrish is known across Florida as a leading expert on economic trends and regularly works with business and government leaders alike to measure the success of our state and the communities within it. Dr. Parrish was recently the keynote speaker for the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Economic Forecast and his presentation there spurred various discussions on this episode of the podcast.
