Julian received his Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and finance and his Master of Accounting from Florida State University. Julian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where he serves on the Governing Council, is a graduate of Class VI of the Leadership Academy, and is active within the Forensic Valuation Services Section. Julian is also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), serving as a member of the Governing Council, Board of Directors, and Chair Elect for a term during fiscal year 2022-2023. In the past, Julian served as the Chairman and Vice Chairman for the Accounting Principles & Auditing Standards Committee within the FICPA.
Julian is a notable leader in the community. He serves within the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce on the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and as Chair of Leadership Tallahassee. Additionally, he is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class 32 and Co-Chair of the Leadership Tallahassee Class 35 Recruitment Committee. This past May, Julian “term limited” out of his seat on the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors after six years of serving, including four years as an officer. Julian has also previously served on the Board of Directors for LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts and was the Chair for the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway Citizen’s Advisory Committee.
Julian has over 15 years of public accounting experience providing assurance services. At THF, he is a Shareholder and is the Assurance Services Department Leader. Julian is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He also received the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential.
