Tallahassee Chamber Launches Local Talent Pipeline Management Academy

Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) is a demand-driven, employer-led approach to closing the skills gap.

By utilizing supply chain management principles, employers play an expanded leadership role as “end-customers” of education and workforce partnerships. In 2020, the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce team participated in the TPM Academy created and facilitated by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and learned strategies on how employers can support one another in developing a more data and performance-driven approach to improving education and workforce partnerships.

In August of 2022, the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce will host its first TPM Academy cohort in Tallahassee. The Academy will prepare up to 35 individuals committed to applying the TPM curriculum and supporting the launch of successful and sustainable workforce collaboratives.

If you are an employer looking for a talent pipeline solution that can produce a skilled workforce, the TPM Academy might be a good fit for you. Participants can also include education, workforce or economic development partners that want to repurpose employer engagement beyond an advisory capacity, or better align programming to produce more streamlined, employer-led career pathways.

The TPM Academy will take place over a four-month span and include a mixture of in-person and virtual sessions.

Applications are available NOW and must be submitted by June 30, 2022.

If you are looking to learn more about the TPM Academy and if it’s a good fit for you, please join us on June 16 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm for an informational webinar. The TPM Academy team will be live to offer advice and answer any questions about the program.
