#TalentLivesHere – Royle King, Leon County and Omega Lamplighters

Royle King is a young man from Dallas, Texas with a passion to help people. At the age of 15, Royle made the decision that he wanted to attend one of the top journalism programs and HBCU’s in the country – Florida A&M University. While he was in school, Royle decided it was time to give back and pursue his passion for helping people.

In 2008, alongside an Omega Psi Phi fraternity brother, Royle founded the Omega Lamplighters – a program designed to empower young men with the tools they need to become active, educated, and responsible citizens. The Tallahassee chapter started with only 20 kids and in 12 years, the non-profit program has grown to over 140 kids and 25+ chapters across the country.
