I actually had someone tell me not to join, then a Chamber staff member came to me and said that if I didn’t make my membership investment back the first year, then she would never bother me again. I joined, got involved, and needless to say, it has worked out very well for me.
“Once I got established, the biggest membership benefit to me has been access to information on important local issues. I need to stay informed on government issues, and the Chamber helps me with that. I also really enjoy my Leads Group and focusing on how I can be a resource for others – how I can give to them. You can’t just take, you need to be a net giver. It helps me to give back and share my experience – the Chamber allows me to do that.”
