Big Bend Homeless Coalition Hope Community

The Junior League of Tallahassee (JLT), in partnership with the Big Bend Homeless Coalition, is excited to welcome our community to view the recently renovated lobby at the Big Bend Homeless Coalition’s Family Emergency Shelter program, HOPE Community. HOPE Community provides emergency shelter, case management, and support services for families moving out of homeless and into stable housing within the Big Bend area. JLT is proud to have fostered a partnership with HOPE in 2017 and are thrilled to continue that partnership until at least May 2020. From September 2018 to May 2019, JLT members have volunteered over 500 hours at HOPE helping the organization by serving residents at meal times, reading to children at bedtime, performing campus improvements and supporting or hosting events for residents.
