Chuck White, long-time Tallahassee real estate developer, community leader and homeless advocate, connects unemployed clients through a program called H3LP Employment Services.
With businesses reopening, White is again helping Connecting Everyone with Second Chances to place their clients from the Kearney Center and their residential programs in temporary to full-time employment. H3LP works very much like Kelly Services or Labor Finders to provide employers with employees properly vetted to ensure they have the appropriate jobs skills. Last week, 10 clients were hired to help with deep cleaning at Star Metro, and two were hired by Second Harvest Food Bank.
The H3LP program and Chuck White are vital to accomplishing The Kearney Center’s mission to offer help and hope by creating solutions that provide a path to self-sufficiency to those in poverty.
