The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) announced The Joe Curley Rising Leader Award nominees via social media on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, and Lauren Helm, APR, was named as a nominee!
The Joe Curley Rising Leader Award is intended to identify and honor up-and-coming individual FPRA members that demonstrate emerging leadership traits along with dedicated involvement with FPRA Chapter activities, programs, functions and events.
Lauren serves as the Director of Marketing for MillCreek Financial Consultants and is the Director of Credentialing for the FPRA – Capital Chapter’s board. She is passionate about the credentialing process and helped curate a 12-week virtual study course, a guided group mock exam, and a three-day bootcamp event to provide resources for fellow public relations colleagues earning their Accredited in Public Relations (APR) designation. Lauren joins a diverse class of Rising Leaders throughout the state and will be in contention for The Joe Curley Rising Leader Award during the FPRA Annual Conference in August.
