GORE BRINGS LEGAL EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE
AND COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS.
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Phipps Reporting has hired Joann Gore as director of business development for the Tallahassee/Panhandle region. In this capacity, Gore will educate the Florida Panhandle legal community on the court reporting industry and the services Phipps Reporting offers.
She will also serve as a resource to the legal community for court reporting needs and the liaison between the legal community and Phipps Reporting.

For the past 16 years, Gore was a member services specialist and then executive director of the Tallahassee Bar Association, where she managed the day-to-day business operations and planned events and continuing legal education courses for the 650-member organization.
During that time, she also served several stints as interim executive director of the association’s Legal Aid Foundation, managing the award-winning Thunderdome Tallahassee program, attorney volunteers, and grant writing.
Additional legal experience includes serving on the Florida Bar Voluntary Bar Liaison and marketing consultant for a start-up law firm.
“Through her work with the Tallahassee Bar Association and deep engagement in the local legal community, Joanne has provided many enriching opportunities for our students, alumni and faculty members,” said Nancy Benavides, associate dean for student advancement at Florida State University College of Law. “Her ability to facilitate connections within the legal community has been very beneficial for FSU Law students and graduates and should serve her well in her new role.”
Gore earned her bachelor’s degree in communications/public relations from Valdosta State University and master’s degree from Florida State University in communications. She is a member of the Florida Society of Association Executives.
