James Moore Welcomes Four New Hires

James Moore, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants (James Moore) is pleased to welcome Donna Bicknell, Amanda Glover, Stephanie Massey, and Johan Van Wyk to the firm.

Bicknell will serve as a Senior Consultant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department. Prior to joining the firm, Bicknell worked as a Regional Accounting Manager for the country’s largest owner and operator of private golf and country clubs in Dallas, Texas. She was responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing and performing balance sheet account reconciliations, and completing other accounting functions for her clients. She received a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Saint Leo University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York. As a Senior Consultant, Bicknell will be responsible for advanced bookkeeping and accounting services for the firm’s business and nonprofit clients.

Glover will serve as a Receptionist. Glover’s experience includes working as a Testing Coordinator for a public high school, a Legal Assistant for a law firm, and a Front Desk Associate for a health and fitness center in Gainesville, Florida. She received a Master’s of Education from Concordia University, Portland, Oregon and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Santa Fe College. As a Receptionist, Glover will answer, screen and forward all incoming phone calls to the Gainesville office; greet and direct visitors; receive mail deliveries; and perform other clerical duties as needed.

Massey has been hired as a Coordinator for the Accounting and Controllership Services department. Prior to joining the firm, Massey worked as an Accounting Manager for a workers’ compensation pharmacy management company in Tampa, Florida where she assisted the Vice President of Finance and the Corporate Accounting Manager in the management of the accounting department. She was responsible for overseeing all accounts payable functions as well as the accounting process and procedures for payroll accounting and reporting. She also assisted with ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and monitoring of the internal financial controls. Massey received a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Portland State University. As a Coordinator, Massey will be responsible for the new client intake process for the Accounting and Controllership Services department. She will assign and monitor the departmental work flows as well as ensure the efficient completion of all work. Massey will also monitor the generation of monthly financial statements for clients and perform bookkeeping services as needed.

Van Wyk will serve as a Senior Consultant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department. Prior to joining the firm, Van Wyk served as a Manager at an accounting and financial services firm in Durban, South Africa where he managed the set-up cost structures for underperforming companies to increase revenue and productivity. He also coordinated the implementation of accounting systems projects and provided consulting services to clients regarding forecasting of future growth and opportunities. He received a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. As a Senior Consultant, Van Wyk will be responsible for advanced bookkeeping and accounting services for the firm’s business and nonprofit clients.
